I groaned audibly for 15 seconds at Rieslings and Persons. What goes into a derek parfait? Also nominative determinism that the man who tells us how to live has the first name Derek, which is close to Derech, the way.
I get the 'parfait' bit, but can someone explain to me the Rieslings and Persons part?
In a derek parfait, I'd put seeds, which are arguably infinitely valuable in expectation. Except raw and shelled pistachios wouldn't be that delicious or, um, edible...so let me think on that for a generation or two
This post gave me my EA Halloween costume idea! I’m finally ready for Boston.
Yaaas! What are you going as??
I’m going to sew wavy blue patches to a thrifted suit and go as an expensive outfit ruined without helping anyone
I’ve found a problem with this costume:
If you sew wavy blue patches onto a suit, it doesn’t look like a suit ruined in a river. It looks like a suit someone sewed wavy blue patches onto.
I guess I’ll be in Boston as “Guy who has to explain his Halloween costume”

Riesling is a wine (and... kind of sounds like reason?), that's all
