Oh, forgot about pizza near the venue: Square Pie Guys has vegan and gluten free Detroit style pizza. Namaste, in Berkeley, has vegan, gluten free Indian pizza (and regular pizza). Most pizza places have an option for vegan cheese.
Wildseed also has a location in SF on Union Street. Not accessible by BART or MUNI trains but you can get there by MUNI bus or Uber/Lyft.
I live in the area. I also recommend Quickly for boba/snacks, which is in walking distance of the hotel. There's also Ike's subs, which has many vegan options.
If you want Japanese curry (something that's a bit hard to get outside Japan and the West Coast), there's a great spot in Alameda called Urban Ka-re House with vegetarian options (that I think are also vegan but they don't advertise that way).

I love Japanese curry. I'm not going to EAG SF this year but I'll put that on my list for any future trips!
This neglects Sliver/Cheeseboard, home of the best pizza that can be found at reasonable prices. Unthinkable.
I can't believe I didn't include a pizza recommendation! Inconceivable. Lucky I have you and Gordon :)
Long Life Veggie House in Berkeley has solid vegan American-Chinese food.
